Child Protection Training Course Materials
The following documents comprise the Sabine Creek Ranch Child Protection Training Curriculum, approved by the Department of State Health Services. The State of Texas now requires that any group attending or operating a camp at any licensed youth camp must train any volunteers and leaders who could come into contact with campers under the age of 18 under a Child Abuse Prevention Training program approved by the state, and each person taking the class must pass a 25 question test with a score of at least 70%. Each group which falls under these guidelines should plan to offer this training and submit the completed exam or certificate of completion to the Sabine Creek Ranch office at or prior to arrival.
